Nearly six years after the Sailor Moon anime had finished production, a live action version of the show was produced in 2003. We enjoyed the live action version, as the characters are pretty close to their manga counterparts moreso than the anime. Of course, a new Sailor Moon series cannot exist without the production of dolls and other merchandise, so 6" miniature dolls were produced. The dolls are Dream Pocket sized with Dream Pocket bodies, but the head molds are entirely new and resemble the Japanese actresses. The eyes are brown on each Senshi and more narrow, and their hair colors closely resemble the character's wigs from the show. A Sailor Luna doll was produced, as well as a playset of Usagi's room that comes with a 6" doll.
